So after three weeks of writing a minimum of 4k words a week, of course I end up having a dental emergency of the "act now or lose half your jaw next month" variety. Yeeeesh. Hoping to avoid a root canal so I can get a late update out, if nothing else.

I shamelessly have long paragraphs of descriptions of characters, right in the main text, and I recommend other writers try it if character appearance is important to the story — or to the PoV character.
