I think it's less about timezones than about consistency. As long as you've picked a day and time to post it should work fine.

If you aren't getting paid, and you aren't trying to, deadlines are mostly bullshit. Otherwise, if you aren't having fun: Stop. Readers can and will notice if you hate what you're writing.
