Is it possible to make it so that it shows when an author likes a comment or answers one? Similar to youtube or other pages. There are a few commentators in my novel, and sometimes answering would be a bit redundant, but if they know I liked the comment and read it, it may encourage conversation in the novels.

My understanding is that liking a comment doesn't give any notice regardless of who you are, but you @ someone in a comment they'll see it, which is mostly used for replies?

Yeah, my point was the liking part—something like this. It's not necessary, but it may give the comment section a bit more life.
