To all angst lovers who just want some silly fictions to relieve the itch of abusiveness and victimhood. :3

Setting: Truck-sama isekai you to a world of novel. You didn’t read this novel. You haven’t heard anything about the plot. You realised this was a novel because you’ve seen the faces of the major characters in the cover of one of the volumes displayed on the bookstore you usually passed through daily. The two characters on that cover were you and your butler. However, you two appeared older than the ones on the cover. You lived peacefully for a month. Your butler was very attentive. Life couldn’t be better.

You woke up on day and found your butler hanged himself. You were quick enough to save his life. Upon regaining his consciousness, he grabbed your shirt collar screaming at you for saving him. His tears streamed down his cheeks asking for an explanation.

After that day, you made a few research. You found out that the character you reincarnated into used to be the archenemy to the butler. You two’s upfront as well as behind-the-scene schemes were very ugly. It hurt a lot of people you two cared about. Apparently your host won the struggle and exposed your “butler” ‘s wrong doings. Your host continued tormenting him, blackmailing him, torturing his loved ones after that. Couldn’t handle the abuse, he begged you to spare his loved ones while letting him pay the “debt” with his life. Of course, your host didn’t agree. What use is death except being a relief from suffering? Your host did find it to be an interesting idea to see how much the other could keep his end of the bargain.

Long story short, he became your host’s loyal butler (slave), doing whatever his master demanded, for 20 years then your host would allow him to commit suicide without causing any more difficulty to his loved ones. The day the butler hanged himself was exactly 20 years after.

You came to see the dejected butler as he surmised you didn’t want to keep your word. He didn’t trust that you had changed.

Moreover, his life was finished with all the things your host published as well as the stuffs you later made him do. He didn’t want to go on. He wanted you to keep your promise.

You were stuck with two options: agreeing with the suicidal guy, or delaying the decision while making his life better with the hope that he would choose to live on. Option 2 had a risk. The longer he waited, the more despair he became. At his lowest point, he would just end his life without any regard for anyone anymore.
