There's a dragon curse. 🐲

What is the curse?
How did one fall under it?
And how does one break it?

#BreakTheCurse

Dragon flatulence. Through consuming undercooked intestines of a Drake you have come under the curse of excessive farting...but through your mouth and it sounds like a dragon's roar and its scent is as strong as a dragon.

The only way to cure this curse is by ingesting raw tiger penus, preferably of a strong and healthy one. Intake this for a week, once everyday and you should be ridden of this curse.

If it doesn't subside even with this, drastic measures need to be taken. One such treatment is to try intravenously inserting the medicine mentioned before...

Dragon's curse, also known as horder's disorder, is a curse inflicted on trespassers of the lair of a strange subspecies of dragon known colloquially as a "minimalist" and the curse is a mental debuff that is briefly alleviated by the act of theft and gathering of items.
Those afflicted are to live in the same gated community to keep the chaotic nature under relative control until the dragon in charge of the curse is either negotiated with or killed.
Curse symptoms: golden eyes that shine in the darkness, the thinning of flesh (wasting), lengthening of the canines and in the later stages, tumor growths on the forehead and the bottom of the spine, resembling horns and a tail

Dragon's Wrath spread through the marshes and swamplands. The curse lay dormant for centuries beneath the mud, only to be awoken by a lone sorceress---a witch they called her.

The curse was like a blight. It ate away at all reason, spreading its tendrils through the veins of its victims. It ate at their flesh, forming them into scales. Eventually, the lords of the swamp would become like their dragon ancestors. If they were human, they met a fate much different.

From the witch's actions, thousands became lizardmen. They lost their inhibitions and succumbed, becoming lowly flesh-eating scoundrels. They worshipped their lords. They turned away from their Gods. They turned away from humanity. All hope was gone behind their slitted, draconic eyes.

Who would be the savior to break the curse? Who could cure the dragon's madness? Who would find that witch?

The kingdoms couldn't answer, and nobody could freely enter. And it spread like wildfire. Would the whole continent be left to rot? Or would a hero emerge?

Only one person knew the answer. To cure a wrath so deadly, you'd need an equal amount of love.

"Come forth, Our Champion," The Human God said. "Lay claim to your home. Vanquish the witch of hate."

(Much dramatic)

You've been suffering from this curse for a while, video after video popping up in your recommended feed. All the same.
ASMR videos.
It all started cause you clicked on a Dragon ASMR video on Scribble Hub Forum posted by some strange individual. You think he follows you around in secret, but there's nothing you can do about that.
But how can you stop the videos? THEY ARE DRIVING YOU MAD! MAKE IT STOP!!!
Maybe, just maybe... To break the curse...
You need to join the dragon's hoard.

My take is similar to Lycanthropy - also known as Werewolves.

The 'Dragon Curse' is referred to as Scaliophosia, and is a disease that causes a shift on the genetic level, where your skin begins to rash violently in certain spots, from which will slowly scab over despite not being an open wound - causing the scab to form beneath the skin, an extremely painful process. Overtime, these scabs thicken and harden, becoming durable enough to actually qualify for a weapon if enough of them are gathered in one spot.

The nails will also significantly harden by continuously layer up instead of growing outwards. They still grow outwards, but just extremely slow, and become near impossible to shorten naturally, acting like a claw to anything they dig into. They will also experience extreme dental pain, as they will begin to form calcium deposits above their current set of teeth - slowly but surely knocking all of their current teeth out before extruding, forming sharp, jagged canines that cause bleeding upon formation.

Then, due to the extreme amounts of pain, the victim's eyes will dilate sporadically, their brain responding to low amounts of light extremely bad, causing them to grow wider, but it is highly unlikely that both eyes will dilate at once. Due to the continuous stress, the victim will also slowly hunch over, holding their head still to tolerate the pain - which is how Scaliophosia grows further. Their spine will slowly begin to grow pairs of five dull spikes on either side of their upper-back until it reaches the scabbed area, which it will then slowly push out further, but the scab layer will not break, causing the back to shape and mold itself along with the spine growths - forming the 'wings' of the dragon.

Then, their head will throb painfully, slowly but surely growing misshapen, jagged horns on either side of their head, which could range from two to seventeen horns, all a minimum of five inches long. But, the 'Dragon' part comes from when their brain begins to slow down in specific areas, causing their mind to perceive more than one third of all food contents consumed as a form of toxin, resulting in explosive vomiting which will almost always come up as a light orange due to unstable anatomy.

And, in the final stage, their vocal cords will become strained and stretched to stay together, resulting in disgruntled speech bordering screaming, their mind too far gone to possibly recover and live a human life - the scabbing reaching a layer so thick not even a knife could get through it properly - and they begin breathing and expelling Dragalia fumes.

You can receive it by way of a rare kind of flower called a 'Snap and Fume', one with a dark green stem and a head styled like a rose, with an orange outermost layer that slowly transitions to black towards the center, but the core of the flower is a yellowish colour. Twice per day, one at sunrise and the other at sunset, it will slowly spread out as far as it can, before snapping back together - creating Dragalia fumes.

These fumes cause Scoliophosia.
However, a kind of bug, the Wyrm Wasp, eats the fumes created by the Snap and Fume flower. It is the size of a regular wasp but twice as long, and only two sets of small legs on either side of its body keeping it up, and two sets of wings on its back to make it fly. If this Wasp either stings you, bites you, or is consumed, you will get Scoliophosia.

The only method to break the curse is before the scaling has gotten too bad, and it is by applying the ground up stingers of twenty Wyrm Wasps in their larval state, two outer petals of the Snap and Fume flower, and mixing it with spring water in a stone mortar and pestal. It also takes effect quicker if it is applied directly onto the rash before scabbing begins.
