The gift stuff of christmas never felt right or sincere to me. Although christmas celebrates Jesus' birth, it's not even his actual birthday.

At least you get to see slutty costumes on halloween if you're lucky. And candies are nice. So my vote goes for Halloween.

Halloween the rare time you can cosplay and no one would bat an eye too much of your inner weeb/otaku fantasies coming out.

Christmas you get presents. And days off depending on your work.

Enjoy both but, I think you can get presents at other times. Halloween there's something special with how people just love decorating their front lawns with skulls I suppose.
