They showed footage of group of BCs being shred to pieces by bombs and bullets in the current war. Videos of dead and half-dead BCs being tossed into the grinder and repurposed into nutrition package for newer BCs. There were even records of amputated BCs being used as shooting targets for the human soldiers. Condemnation from the activists with lines like "Child Soldiers", "Immoral practice", "Playing god" were printed in bold.

I see no issue here, even if they were humans. It's a war, people die. Even better, their corpses can be put to good use. I would punish the soldiers who shot up the BCs though. That's an exorbitant waste of human resources. Amputated soldiers can still be used as cannon fodder in war!

Second, the dehumanising won't work, not unless they are metal underneath it. If they are made of human flesh (like clones) then it will be an uphill battle to even think about using them without being smashed with litigations.

You'll need to divert their attention to the undeniable good bcs bring about, the points that can't be replaced by any other products. Aim to get endorsements from scientific hegemons.


Mainly you'll need to make sure the legal aspects are tight, make sure government isn't too worried about the public outcry.

Also since they are teenager-size, they are smaller targets and are less likely to be hit by projectiles during battle. Besides, they work with other human staff in close proximity so it is easier to have them looked like human to not cause unpleasant impact. Imagine just how terrifying to see a humanoid creatures using human speech.

Normally, right? Just use it, throw the remains in the bin, and it gets recycled.

So how is this any different from the bio-engineered lives?
Both are made in a lab over a period of time, each one made to be the best they could be - and both end up being thrown away, recycled, and re-used for the next batch - there isn't much different from them now, are there? They can't actually feel - after all, how could we possibly do that? We aren't Gods, so think of it more like a roomba - a machine with a code to follow.
We just chose to substitute the metal for flesh.
