Drawing I made, should I make it my icon?

Hey all y'all,

If you don't know, I'm currently working on a fantasy novel centering on the dynamic between a human and merfolk civilization. For a fun little thing with that, I made this:

It is derived off the icon I use in most other places:

Yeah, so something I'm wondering, do you guys think I should make the new drawing my icon? Or even the one I use on other sites works. I might have to change my username to accomodate it.

(and yes, I did base the merboy pose off of an icon someone else on the site uses, though I don't think they made the original drawing)

Whoops. Sorry. I kinda stop taking some pills and got myself into a weird vision of some sorts. Anyways, that pic is just staring into my soul and had known the three people I had blackmailed today. Or is it that the pills didn't kick in as for now.
