Resolved footnote within chapter author's note blocks not allowed?

As said in post title. You may check the page edit history and how it renders. Is having a footnote within an Author's Note just not permitted?

(In the end I did edit to be a parenthetical remark within the sentence; otherwise it would be more concise as a footnote.)

Somewhat similar is the inability to have a footnote in a footnote, or a footnote in an announcement post.

For some reason though, you can put a footnote in a spoiler text that is in an author note (or announcement), so technically the answer is no, it is permitted. That being said, Tony should probably fix this.

Judging from the date from when this was issued and from the last reply as well as a quick check on the problem, I assume this issue has been resolved. Do you mind changing the tag/prefix above to [Resolved] to reduce confusion?
