I don't really like smut in my novel, unless it's an erotica. I mean, for me, it takes away the focus on the work, as well as it can get awkward.
How do y’all feel about smut novels?

Sex or Smut? is usually a boring and tedious to read... Especially since, whenever an interesting seeming novel have it... its tends to go on and on...
and on and on and on and on and on and on and on...
and on and on and on and on...
and on and on...
until something truly interesting happens... for a chapter or two... or a half... and then...
Its on and on and on and on again...
...
Too often its either bland and mundane throught, with nothing kinky, titillating, etc, about the story, nor any of the tedious... on and on and on...
or there is something that truly tickles my interests, but then... its always buried in endless, tedious... on and on and on and on...
I wish people would take those truly interesting, kinky background and setting stuff, and massively expand on them... but compressed all those boring "on and on and on" parts... to some... less than a chapter per five chapters maybe?
