How editor works?

I sometimes get too tired or lazy after writing a chapter that I don't want to edit or proofread it so I have to delay posting. I have a good friend who can help me edit chapters. But how do I give him access to chs? (That are already posted). Is there any option on this site to give some kind of editor access to a certain user or the final solution is that I have to give him my username and password. Sorry if it sounds noob.

There is no on-site solution, but Google Docs works just fine.

He can copy and paste it, but you'd still have to update the final product.

I do not advise you to post directly after writing it.
It is almost always better to sleep over what you wrote and edit it the next day.
(no iron clad rule, but it helps me)

I usually give my friend access to the chapter as a google before posting.

Best decision would be to have a Google doc imo
