I made a poll before about writing a story based on a title. Got some good suggestions and feedback. I’m considering the poll as having ended early. The results of the poll were…
• I Killed The __
• The Academy’s __
• __ In A Xianxia World.
All three of the above had the same high votes.
If we mix it we get ‘I Killed The Academy’s __ In A Xianxia World’. I wasn’t expecting there to be such a title synergy but here we are. Got like… two suggestions about making the main character British(?). One making them a whore and another making them druggie and/or undead?
A lot of extremely long titles as usual that my mind glossed over due to low attention span (sorry I’m not good at concentrating). I guess it’d be my first time writing an ‘Academy’ story.
Considering that I know a lot about Ancient China (from researching why Xianxia tropes exists), I’m confident in setting it in a Xianxia world… but that seems to clash with ‘The Academy’ part since that’s usually the type of fantasy world where magic exists instead.
A thought suddenly came to me about making it a fusion fantasy as a cultivator enters an academy of magic users. Not understanding their customs and creating some drama.
Thus, I’m thinking of changing the title ordering to be more like “The Academy’s __ After I Killed The __ In A Xianxia World’. The nuances of the title is now making it suggest the main character was reincarnated twice or world travelled twice.
Now let’s fill that in using some suggestions.

Now let’s condense those ideas and kill the darlings. Since they aren’t mine I’m not gonna feel bad for this execution block. Let’s get the big, long, hard titles out of the way first.

Seems too laidback so I’m setting that as background for the synopsis for now.
‘Intergalactic Vampire’ synergises with the idea so the nuance of the original magic setting seems to be changing. At the very least, there seems to be fusion aspects between space and mystical races. Since vampires count as ‘Undead’ too the nuance will change to make the vampire less mystical and more horrifying.

Honestly, I’d usually ignore the joker suggestions but the suggestion by @TheMonotonePuppet made me realise some just like edge. I’m not sure if @J_Chemist was trying to be ironic in a joke way or not, a sentence gives no nuance.
Since we already have ‘Whore’ let’s just combine those two suggestions to make a ‘Sex Video’ plot device. I mean, he did say to ‘make sure you include porn’. So it’s not exactly wrong.
Let’s see… Druggie, Everyone Dies, and Lord Edgelord. They seem like polarising ideas that don’t seem to work well together. But the Lord of the Edges part makes it barely useable.
Let’s just combine it into the idea of Gilgamesh since his tale in the Fateverse is pretty much about having a lot of edges. Make him a druggie because he found the elixir of youth and make it so he kills an entire world on an atomic level.
Becoming a ruler of death.
Since we have an Intergalactic Undead Vampire we can say that this is either a mid boss extension of him, or make Gilgamesh a vampire who found ‘people’ as his elixirs of life.
I like the latter idea so let’s go with that.
What’s left: Janitor, Fateweaver, Ender Dragon, British, Gunslinger, Wizard, Heavenly Demon,
Android Fox Girl, Advanced Interstellar Spaceship, Duty, Spoiled Pet.
‘Heavenly Demon’ seems most in-line with the Xianxia concept. Maybe keeping it untainted will help build contrast between the science fiction western fantasy world and the eastern xianxia.
Maybe one significant change can play a role.
Let’s make him a ‘Gunslinger’ to make it easier to adapt to the space. ‘Janitor’ could mean he is given the role to keep a certain place clean. He should originally be ‘British’, is given a ‘Duty’ which leads to becoming a heavenly demon,

So… how will I join this?
They say fate is like calculating. There are a lot of abilities like ‘Laplace’ in Dawnin’a Game (anime) which calculates the future. So giving the Android Fox Girl that ability makes sense.
‘Wizards’ in a sci-fi setting could be considered hackers, so we can give her that level of expertise. Make it so she owns an ‘Interstellar Spaceship’ and is has a ‘Spoiled Pet’ attitude.
All that’s left seems to be ‘Sex Video’…
I’m tempted to misuse the plot device but it’s not like videoing sex is a heinous act, so maybe using it like one would be in bad taste. Since media depicts ‘fox ladies’ as a fetish, maybe she is a leading pornstar that happens to find MC.

I immediately knew why I was reborn. It must have been to kill that damn psychopath who was eating people to prolong his life. That reincarnate who called himself ‘Gilgamesh’ and a demigod.
After sharpening my abilities, I finally met him face-to-face. He was as I’d expected… A demon required no mercy. He drained the blood of the living, and I sent him to the afterlife to pay for it.
However, my plan had failed.
The result was the destruction of my whole world. Everything I knew vanished, and everyone died in an instant. I didn’t know how he did it, but this cannibal had a trump card in his death.
My story should’ve ended there…
“Hey, handsome, are you finally waking up?” I’d opened my eyes in new flesh. Feeling like my memories and body were incomplete. I felt a breathing mask while submerged in a tank of strange fluids. This scene made me theorise…
…that my life from now on wouldn’t be the same.
Now I had to pretend to be that psychopath’s clone. Pretend I didn’t have memories of the past.
This fox lady wasn’t going to make it easy.
