Reading progress on tablet?

How does one keep track of progress while on tablet? PC you simply click a lil book icon or something at the top/bottom of the page and it keeps progress. But that button or widget seems to be missing when view on a tablet?

You can go to your reading list, click the cog, and change the auto bookmark settings. Otherwise I just go to the index and check the chapter box in the chapter list.

At least on my phone, a tap on the page (in the area of the chapter, not the comments) opens the menu where I can bookmark or open the table of contents.
