And here I thought there would be genuine "secret recipe" level of recipe that could be used to start a genuine restaurant/cafe that would be included in giveaway.

I remember going to local specialist cafe that sold exclusive blend of coffee and the coffee taste freaking good. When I ask the cafe owner, the cofee recipe itself cost him $2000.

Of course the cofee taste good, it's a $2000 specialty recipe that was made for cofee enthusiast. The reddish-brown color and distinct taste is just unmistakable.

But sadly it closes down last year due to lack of consumer and lots of other reason. The other couple of cafe next to it still open to this day, but the quality of normal coffee itself too average and too normal, much different from the specialist.

@Aaqil Here is a good cookie recipe that I found while cleaning my shelf just the other day. It is my grandma's recipe and I was ecstatic when I finally found it again!
Since I wrote it when I was younger, I will fill in the blanks that my lazy self left out.

2023_08_05 5_05 PM Office Lens.jpg
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
3 cups oatmeal
1 teaspoon vanilla
Optional: 1 cup of coconut

  1. Put butter, milk, sugar, and cocoa powder into a pot. Optional: Extra pieces of actual chocolate like a Hershey's bar can be added to improve taste.
  2. Turn heat to medium and quickly lower the temp down once signs of boiling begins.
  3. Boil for one minute while constantly stirring.
  4. Pull off the burner and mix in the oatmeal.
  5. Cover with a lid for 5 minutes.
  6. Add vanilla and coconut and mix again.
  7. Get a tray out and lay wax paper on top.
  8. Spoon mixture out on the tray in cookie sized bites and let harden. (Lazy method: pour as one giant cookie and let it harden, then cut into squares) For faster cool down, use fridge. I, however, love them while still warm and mushy.
  9. Enjoy!!! (✿⌒ᆺ⌒)👍

Here’s a super lazy recipe since I’m tired:
If you make strawberry cake mix and lemon cake mix with about half the liquid each, roll them into balls, combine one ball of strawberry and one of lemon, roll in powdered sugar, and then bake for 10 minutes, you get strawberry lemonade cookies.

Homade Zupo Toscana Recipe
20230819_150757_Gallery.jpg
1 lb Hot Italian Sausage
Optional: bacon bits
2 lbs russet potatoes chopped into thin slices (6 medium or 3 large)
6 cups chicken stock
1/2 white onion, minced
3 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, more to taste
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, more to taste
4 cups chopped kale
1 cup heavy cream

  1. Cook sausage and set aside.
  2. In a large pot on medium-ish heat, fry onion until slightly translucent, then add minced garlic and continue for a minute more.
  3. Add the stock, salt, pepper, potatoes, and meat (optional: add bacon bits). Boil for 15 minutes, or until potatoes are fork tender.
  4. Using a spoon with holes, fish out about 1 cup of the potatoes, mash it, and return it back to the pot (this helps the soup to thicken).
  5. Add the kale and heavy cream and boil until wilted and tender, approximately 3 more minutes.
  6. Taste for seasoning, and add salt/ red pepper flakes to taste
  7. Enjoy!!! (✿⌒ᆺ⌒)👍

I just found another old childhood recipe of my grandma's!!! Now I need to make it again! (You can tell just how much this one was used)
˝/\___/\˝

4 Bananas (this recipe is great for bananas that are about to go bad, with the spotted brown skin and mushiness, used to do it all the time👍)
2 1/2 cups flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
1 cube of butter (1/2 cup), softened

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F)
  2. In a bowl, mix all the powdered ingredients.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, use a mixer to mix softened cream cheese & butter, and bananas until creamy.
  4. Dump the powder into creamy mixture and mix again.
  5. Put in a bread pan or mold and place into oven until a tooth pick poked in comes out clean (around 30-45 minutes. -ish. Been a while since I last made it.)
  6. ˝/\__/\˝
    (✿^ᆺ^)👍 enjoy!!!

Here I am, trying out a new recipe. I wanted to see if there was any good or healthy alternative Italian sausage recipes to mix in with my spaghetti...

*hehe* I found one, and my Dad couldn't even taste the difference, even though I used ground turkey instead (I never told him that part though).
˝/\__/\˝
(✿;≧∇≦;)

Very simple and straightforward:
• 2 teaspoons dried parsley
• 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
• 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon fennel seed (we use whole, but you can crush the ½ teaspoon of whole seeds or use ground fennel if you'd like)
• 1/2 teaspoon paprika
• 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 1 tablespoon minced garlic
• 1 teaspoon minced onions
• 2 pounds ground beef (or turkey, chicken or pork)

Mix ingredients and cook according to directions on meat package.

Personally 2lbs is too much for me, so I divided everything in half (except for the fennel seeds).

˝/\__/\˝
(✿≧ᆺ≦)👍 Hope you enjoy!!!

Simple yummy cream cheese glaze, good for cinnamon rolls and pancakes!!!

8oz cream cheese package
3 1/2 Tablespoons of powder sugar
1-3 Tablespoons milk (to desired consistency)

  1. Soften the cream cheese (approximately 30 seconds in the microwave)
  2. Mix in the sugar
  3. Slowly mix in the milk, until at desired consistency.
  4. Enjoy!!!
A/N:I enjoy my stuff slightly sweeter, so sometimes I add just slightly extra sugar to match my tastes.

Philippine style Adobo:
Here's how to do it:

5 cloves of garlic, crushed and minced
1 onion, minced
chicken
potatoes, cubed (optional)
pepper
bay leaves (just 1-2 is fine, optional)
1 ladle full of soy sauce
1 ladle full of vinegar
1 cup of water (another cup is optional)

1) Sautee garlic till golden brown.
2) Sautee onion with the garlic for 20 seconds.
3) Sautee the potatoes.
4) Add the chicken.
5) Add the pepper.
6) Add the vinegar, soy sauce and water. Let everything cook for 45 minutes minimum in low heat (one hour is recommended).
7) Once the chicken is cooked, add bay leaves.
8) This step is optional. You can add water (gradually) for a 'saucy' adobo, or you can let the sauce dry up slowly (but not completely so as to avoid burning the chicken).

Note: water is added so as not to make the dish way too salty. Too much soy sauce will overpower the vinegar, and vice versa.

There are some recipes that add sugar to the dish, and yes, it tastes good too. Any case, sugar is optional (and gradually added). Up to your taste buds on whether to add or disregard it.

Also, don't add cilantro and jalapeno. Don't listen to Western chefs trying to cook it. lol

Sliced Bread

1 unsliced bread
1 knife (sharpened)

Step 1. Place bread on solid surface.
Step 2. Hold knife firmly by the handle.
Step 3. Hold bread and ensure bread remains stationary.
Step 4. Slice bread using knife.
Step 5. Congratulations! You have sliced bread!

Hope you all liked my recipe! Please stay tuned for my next one: boiled water!

I was craving some chips and salsa, and tried out a simple recipe that I recently discovered.

To my surprise, it actually came out perfect, and even reminds me of a restaurant salsa that I enjoy.

Anyways, I thought that others might want to try it, so... here it is!!!

Update: I like my salsa with a little kick. Adding one 4oz can of hot fire roasted green chilies does wonders on this recipe.

a teaspoon of vinegar
crack egg into it

Oh, this one is also simple and delicious. More of a casserole, but still very good. Been a while since I last had some, and I do want to make them... but I am having enchiladas this week.
