Recommended size for profile banner

whats the recommeded banner size like XxY

I tried opening a paint canvas and resizing it so that it fit right on top of the banner, and it amounted to roughly 1177x250.

I think I might have made it a bit bigger than necessary on the horizontal axis, so maybe 1150x250 might be the right size.
