Recommendations Recs for stories where MC keeps failing upwards

I’m looking for stories where the objective/desire of the MC is to fail, but his efforts are seen as genius by others and he keeps succeeding instead.

Example are stories like “Losing Money to Be a Tycoon”, and “I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!”

Was gonna recommend losing money to be a tycoon when I saw you already read that. Soooo i’m gonna recommend a chinese comedy movie cause why the hell not, It’s called “Hello mr. Billionaire” and its basically about a poor dude who finds out he had a billionaire grandpa who left him a chance to get his inheritance, and to do that he needs to basically spend I think was around 3 billion yuan in a month or so to win the full inheritance which is around 50 or smth.

It was a fun movie I watched a couple of years ago in the cinema, and since I rarely get to recommend it to people, I’m gonna be doing it here.
