Where would I find the time to rhyme even if I could rhyme it would be a crime to do it before bedtime. But alas if I could touch grass then I would be able to find some ass on mass. This the end of this rhyme because I have finally ran out of time. Good night
Another technique to try would be creating a character who continually uses assonance, which is the property of repeating the vowel sound. I think a character who did this, would be far more interesting.
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze…
"Twisting and spinning the fortune wheel"
"Watching the numbers run like the wind"
"trying to guess which number will win"
"For your life is in stake, that is the deal"
It wasn't just novels, you see; I used to write a lot of poetry, but then I wondered, whatever for, so I decided not to write it anymore. Now it's just novels, short stories, novelettes, so much more, not finished yet.
