What is your favorite method to get inspiration or motivation ?

Actually...similar too. Lot of interesting dreams can twisted into dark stories or have some modifications to make it less weird and flow more plot-like.

But to those of us who cannot remember dreams, this is an unknown concept....

I write side stories and come up with more worldbuilding. It can become a bit of a problem though, given that sometimes I end up with maybe half of my wordcount or more in stuff I can't really write into the story...
