Anyone know any stories where the protagonist can't help but meddle in the love lives of everyone he or she meets, to help them find their happy ending?

It's probably not what you're looking for, but your prompt immediately reminded me of 'Is it Tough Being a Friend' which is over on NU. It's about a guy that wants to take the role of the protagonist's best friend, which includes matching him with the FLs. The start of it at least is an interesting comedy.
