I want to challenge myself by creating something out of nothing despite leaning towards the midpoint between Architect and Gardener (I basically alter my pre-prepared plan if I like certain beats while writing).

To simplify it: This is my version of relaxing. Which is writing a story that likely won’t be long but will be fun to think up on the spot. Flex those creative muscles I haven’t been using recently.

Now the challenge I set for myself is making a novel based of a title and simple synopsis.

Mostly just the title tho.

Got some on the poll. Help me by picking the one that sounds more interesting. Idk how it turns out and suggestions for the title is fine. If it sounds fun enough to try then why not.

1. You are in reincarnated, but there is one problem. You are a soul stuck in a jiangshi, and it is excruciating and falling apart. You must find the Dao in the pain you feel constantly, and harness this Dao of Agony to survive in a righteous cultivator-ridden world, which wishes you dead. All the while, you must make temporary patches to your constant state of decay in an attempt to carve out some manner of coexistence with humankind. 2. You're a drug addict - ecstasy is a type of drug - and you must deal with all of the normal problems that come with being a drug addict on Earth. But on top of that, you must fight for your life against the heart demons you are always generating and patch up the Qi deviations that are slowly turning you less than human... these hallucinations of Qi interacting with drugs are terrible, and the depths of depravity you must lower yourself to just keep getting deeper and deeper. And the Dao... is the worst hallucination of all

That sounds very subversive but seems the same as ‘trying to be good in Xianxia = impossible unless OP’. Maybe I should go all the way and make it a Baritsu specialist. Maybe call it ‘ELEGANCE!’ In A Xianxia World.
