That's really interesting because I had 5 of my readers like my first chapter before it was approved. That may have been the real bug lol. @Tony This guy may be having the issue I had last time. I remember you were able to bump my chapters up the feed.

Views are reset when favorites occur. I was alarmed because favorites did not trigger the number to grow, but if it's linked to the story needing to be approved first, then that makes sense. I can't find any documentation that says that's the case, though.

The issue was that it didn't show up in my Table of Contents or in the Latest Updates feed but it was marked as published with no way to fix it. It needed to be deleted and reposted.

Just kill someone abruptly. Right? Give them arcs to be fulfilled, make lots of promises to the reader in the text about their potential as a character and set up their relationships with other characters, and then just kill them without warning.

Just posted a new chapter via scheduling, and it's live as far as I can tell, but it isn't showing up in my Table of Contents or in the Latest Updates. Help? I had to delete it and repost it but now it won't show up in latest updates because SH probably thinks I'm trying to game the system. Sad...

I've got one, but it's necessary as my main income is Amazon and my story on SH is meant as free content for my fans and a way to push new fans toward my kindle books.

It can take a long time to update. I'm number 4 in two categories and I've seen that cycle repeat again and again. It's no biggie. It'll go up soon!

What is the metric?

When you check rankings on Read, one of the options is Rising. I can’t actually understand what this metric is measuring. Any insights?
