Besides being called an elemental wheel, what else would you call these? Or, how would you describe it?

A diagram of the different schools of magic?
A diagram of what the deities govern over?
The diagram of strengths and weaknesses between types in a game/world?
'-'

I'm not really sure on what you're asking for...

affinity nexus
affinity network
elemental schematic/circuit
asynchronous elemental circuit
elemental primitives
affinity cloud
attributional structure
attribute logic system
elemental reductionism
affinity ascription
elemental state system
elemental gates
mana informatics graph
affinity junctions system
deterministic mana states system
mana symphony hierarchy
affinity logical semantics chart
affinity epicycles constellation
affinity constellation
affinity projection
elemental horoscopes
mana pantheon

some words
glyph, rune, inscription, mark, sigil, primodial, links, connections, correspondence, bonds, relationships, concordance, harmony

you could be more specific for each diagram in general ---> get geometrical
pentagon, hexagons, polygon

why are all these representations flat? why not make them prisms or give them 3d geometries?

if anyone can think of another word instead of elemental or affinity that would be great.

my personal favourites were "affinity nexus" and "affinity constellation".

i think I've seen these pictures before in computer architecture, digital logic, and machine learning.

A diagram of what the deities govern over?

Context! Context!

That's a good point. If you interpret the diagrams with reference to specific world-building elements and backstory then you could give more unique descriptions pertinent to the story rather than just general names.

Like maybe the world has a polytheistic religion where people attribute themselves as having recieved the blessings of their patron god. Perhaps they believe that a person's nature or fate is tied with their affinity. Thus they name this the "Fates Constellation".

The Laws of Magic
The Rules of Magic

Something like that, depending on what you have in the world you made, or what you interpret them as.

Though I do have this in my story, I'm not really asking what to call this for said story. Simple context is pure curiosity in describing a chart like this. Avatar: The Last Airbender has it. DnD has it. Magic card game has it. Computer games have it.

Simply, I wanted help in describing it due to curiousity. It's also interesting how many suggestions I've gotten too.
