What are your top 5 dragons from media like games, anime, webcomics, literature, etc?

1. Toothless, from How to Train your Dragon
2. Smaug, from The Hobbit and from the movie
3. Reni, from Twokinds
4. Ferragus Slackwyrm, from Slack wyrm
5. Paarthurnax, from Skyrim

Surprisingly, I had a hard time thinking of 5 dragons to add to the list so I am interested in seeing others.

1 - dragonite (best postal service, that go Mach 2)
2 - forgot the name...... The FL/heroine in my favorite novel "Opening Hospital in another world" (recently complete). Perfectly written "arrogant but innocent tsundere young dragon". Perfectly logical op "plot armor" for the weaker MC. Allow authors to create more "interesting moments" thx to her curiosity / way of thinking. Also she morph into an "elf" compared to common trope of "dragon morph into human or loli". Also freaking rich.
TLDR : dragon girl DONE RIGHT
3 - Bahamut (Final fantasy)
4 - Haku (Chihiro ghibli)
5 - Shenron DBZ




PS : there are more recent stuff like : Time dragon (side character in a manhwa), or Tohru (Maid dragon). But sadly, despite having a + with their designs/quality, i dont feel they are quite "memorable"

Bahamut raid was awesome and the last fight with the song Answer is incredible. You come to like Nidhogg and Hraesvelgr when you wipe against them in ultimate. While Vitra And midgardsomr appear for a bit of time, and are forgetable.

Personally, I had an extremely difficult time not adding a bountiful selection, so I decided my favorite media with dragons and put the first ones that come to mind.

2. Safyr from The Reincarnation of Alysara. @Comiak
3. Lun'Kat from Beneath the Dragoneye Moons
4. Moonwatcher, Clay, Sunny, Deathstalker, Qibli, Cricket, and Glory from Wings of Fire.
5. Carpy Diem from Reincarnated in a Shonen Manga

3. Крилан from "Слънце недосегаемо" (yes, am cheating)

6. Darktooth from Golden Treasure: The Great Green (he's basically inspired from the above example, hence the name)

Note: these dragons actually aren't rated in any particular order. I've just used a numbered list to mention some cool dergs that I didn't see so far in this thread and to spread awareness about some nice fiction (and fictional worlds). Gotcha!

Also, the ameboid monstrosity from Dean Koontz's novel Phantoms turns at one point into a huge dragon, which I remember being described in a really awesome manner. Too bad they killed it.
