I'm actually just learning right now that Canadians had their own version of English....
I just assumed it was the same as British, minus the overabundant use of the word "eh" that every Canadian I've ever known said to the point that I use it in writing a bit, though never in my speech. Detroit actually gets quite a bit of Canadians believe it or not.
