I'm always confused at people's hatred of the Catholic church. Sure, historically it was bad, but once all these other denominations came out, they gradually grew to be just as self-serving and corrupt as the Catholics they professed hatred and superiority over. I mean, the Protestants, Baptists, and Methodists have had their own share of skeletons in their closets.

Hell, the only denomination I can't seem to find much dirt on is Presbyterian but....their general belief on how you get to heaven alone is pretty controversial. So they need no further dirt than that really. Well that and Jehovah's Witness. I can't decide who has a stupider idea of how to get to heaven. Presbyterian or Jehovah's Witnesses.

All denominations of christian religion are shit, but catholics and orthodox, the two most powerful and multinational organizations, are especially shit. Even looking at the stuff they are doing now the other denominations are like child's play.

So yeah, historically is whatever, but Catholics are doing bad things even in 2022 anno domini, and they are clearly a profit-oriented organization, which makes it even worse.
