edgy how?

Writing vague statements and refusing to elaborate further, like this one said,
"Someday, when you will meet people important to you, you will be hurt, even devastated."
A previous one said,
"You are just a bad copy of a someone better than you in every way, so why are you so proud of yourself?"

Both of them bocked me after i poked them for explaining

Actually, we need an expert. @SakeVision , are these statements edgy?

they are but mere insects when compared to my greatness

Those statements can be considered poetically profound if one could explain them but the fact that they are just stating them to state them is what makes it edgy.

as someone who is edgy for the sake of it people who get angry when you don't understand their stupid nonsense aren't commited to the bit enough

During my edgy phase I would say stuff like this and then explain my rambling like some kind of Greek oracle.
