That is a tricky thing for to definitively say. Nobody else appears to be a villainess here, so I feel it's my prerogative to be one if no one else will. However, perhaps there are some villainesses here that are just hiding themselves or they are not self aware. Does a real villainess need to announce their villainy?

If I am a true villainess am I splendid? Have I achieved splendour? I have very high standards, thus I cannot carelessly crown myself with the modifier splendid. That would just be vainglorious ... which is villainous, but not the villainy I am after! I might actually be a villainess in training if we were to be completely technical.

Also, it's hard to say if I am a villainess in training or a certified villainess since a villainess, especially a proper one, is always refining themselves.

I mean, your statement was you will become a splendid villainess, not that you were already a splendid villainess.
