Straight cause is so oversimplified, I think I only like one BL story cause is so cute get all serious about self doubt or realtions.
Most of the time the stories about bl or gl I find, ends up political.

In the first place I'm not big on romance stories, so if it's the main genre I might dip anyway, but if it's not then..

Both straight and GL are fine for MCs, other characters can be anything, I don't particularly mind.

Also, I've had some unpleasant experiences with BL/GL authors who were aggressive in attempts to "shame" me into reading something of theirs. Yeah no. Seems to only be LGBTQ who are aggressively tolerant nowadays.(LOL).

I will admit though that it has much more often been GL authors who were guilty of this since it seems to baffle them that a fellow straight guy is disturbed/repulsed by gender bender and doesn't share their GL kink/fetish.

Go figure.
