So scribblehub has a problem
That problem is authors put the first few chapters of their stories here then when it start to be a bother they stop and readers have to follow them to others website (most their own).
This invalidates the second most useful thing about SH, the reading list ( first is the ability to find new works in the same place)
So what about giving author the ability of setting up chapters Novelupdate style
Givng them the option between the current manual update in-site and a bot update out-site with them setting to which site the chapers link, delay releases if they want
So even if author doesn't feel like it is worth it to continue update their story here they can set the automatic option to their main website and readers get to keep up having their reading list actualized, being informed of updates without having to check a bunch of sites.
Of course to prevent that stories here become just links to other sites (like NU) a minimum of x manual chapters could be imposed beforesuch tools become available
