My main character is a snob when it comes to the monsters he tames.
So yeah I made these guys and I don't know what unique benefit they'd give to him

I sense a lack of coffee in my veins...maybe that's why I see it like a coffee bean.

maybe the first can be parasitic mimicry or communing with nature and the second one could be a sacrificial pawn of some sort? like not particularly useful in a fight but commonly picked up by nobles in case of assassination to take one fatal wound in their place no matter what

First one can be regeneration (as most squid creatures possessed).

The 2nd one has run out of luck for being drawn like that, so maybe give him the ability to increase your mc in certain areas.

How to draw a Rock Golem:

1. Draw a mountain range.

Here is the final golem compared to a golem I made without using the process.

As you can see, both look to have turtle shells on their backs. It's one of my favorite design choices for these creatures as golems are both man-made and organic, and the shells add that organic touch.
