Dark mode is to embrace the black. To achieve darkness, a choice must be made.

I always used light mode at night, because i also used yellowish night filter + screen dimming.

The screen is very dark despite the background is white. Using dark mode make everything harder to read

This is how I watch lightmode forum in the darkest hour of the night, nearing the next day.

It was supossed to be looked at in the blackout.

As you can see, the screen is very dark despite the light mode. In fact, using anything but lgiht mode make it difficult to see anything.

Then how i watch doomscroll videos at night ? Didn't the filter screw up the colors ?

Yes, the filter screw every content with color. And therefore, its a trade off vetween content quality and eye comfort.

I would prefer for the content to be screw off that to turn off the filter and burn my eye.

And also, it can be slightly negated by watching black and white content like manga and forums. And also by reading in light mode.

scroll to the bottom of the forum, click on “Default Style” and then choose “Default Dark.”

You can also go choose your theme in Account Settings > Preferences
