Which kind of prose do you prefer to write in your story? A descriptive one filled with vivid details, or the short and simple one that’s get the story moving fast. Which one would you prefer to write or read more? Why?

I prefer having descriptions so that I can tell my readers how I perceive/visualize the scenes clearly. I can create something more concrete that they don't have to guess or infer.

Don't have much on the vocabulary list so I describe it as best as I could with what I know.

I usually go more descriptive in fight scenes so readers can "feel" the force behind each blow of the battle. I like to write how the landscape and weather conditions change as the fight progresses. Also it makes my characters look more OP. For character interactions, I keep descriptions short and let the dialogue carry the flow.
