Barely holding back the fury's tide,
I swallow hard, consume it, let it slide.
But they, in folly, cannot understand,

This poor heart of mine can't take it, it freezes!
I am innocent as an angel in the ways of love,
Against you who is a famed seductress,
I look like a horny little cow!
A prey for your delight; my love is not prepared for that fright!
I want romance, mixed with comedy maybe, but not with horror, please!
I know I am young and some bleeding is fine

But a broken clock is right twice, or is little more than decor
Dead weight
It took longer than I expected, stopped more than I wanted
And I wanted.
My tongue still tastes of iron
They'll invite me to their dinner parties, parade me as a charity case for the year.
I'll walk in with drool in my mouth

Sleeping through centuries, passing the time.
So farewell to the daylight with your blinding rays,
I'll probably see you again in a few hundred days.

I step through the door and see life as it thrives
I wade through the sea and feel beings endure
The essence of life is existence thereof
The "beauty" you seek must smile down from above

You walk by the flow'rs, calling goodness obscure
Denying your lives and the parts you deem crude
Don't you feel the pain? is what sane men would ask
Is suffering not, of true beauty, a part?

My scars shine so bright on the soul black as tar
As I scour the sky for the stars yet too far
My self rests secure in this body restrained
That carves out a path for the mind therewith pained

It tries to escape using novels and flasks
Filled with deadly liquids its lips should not touch
That too 's part of beauty and may be pursued
It paints a black backdrop for light to diffuse

Too continue this rant would be saying too much
It's not my best work yet still valued as such
Now use this, my canvas, and with a quick brush
Fill in the light colors and turn bleakness lush
