After you set her down, she thanked you.

It wasn't everyday that a person did something like that for her.

You turned around, ready to return, but she stopped you, saying "Wait!"

With hesitation, she asked:

"What is your name?"
"I'm John Done and I am done with this long series of events, conflicts, and character developments I can do without."
"... What? W-what do--"
"Goodbye."
*walks away*

So ends the story of John Done, A guy who is done with everything.

It seemed she realised the familiar features on your face.

You scratched your head. Your smile pushed the eyelids shut.

Better not let her know what you would say would be a lie or not.

"I don't really have name so just call me whatever you want."

"..." She fell into the awkward silence.

"I have to go now. Good bye."

"Will-will we-"

"Ah. I am not around here. I am a traveler. I will be onto the next country by next week. I don't think we will meet again."

"uhm."

"Just stay safe, ok?" Your eyes wanted to pull the her entire face into memory, embracing it with all your might. It was a miracle to meet her but you got to go now. "Farewell."

"Uhm. Good bye."


You met your mother. You were satisfied.

"Genie. Thank you. Please remove the fetus now."

With the fetus out of her womb, she wouldn't have to suffer her entire life. That fetus was just a mistake, a crime of a rapist. It didn't need to exist. Its disappearance would bring happiness to two people.

"Thanks, mother... for trying your best. You don't have to suffer any longer."

His form faded away.

"May your future... be bright."

That was mostly the main character's thought. He didn't really see himself as a worthy person so he devalued himself.
