How many novels do you plan to write in your life?

as much as I can, I haven't finished writing one but have six or seven in my head. I started this as a hobby but now it feels like never-ending English assignment

Realistically, this is probably a sign you should take a break. If it starts to feel like a chore and isn't fun then you should go do something else for a while and come back when you're more ready for it.

I have a ton of ideas, dozens, but...

Going to just settle for the one i'm working on now lol. Even writing at the pace I am now, it's probably a five to ten year commitment. I might also fit in a short one to break up the pace at some point, but i worry that might break my flow.

To be honest, i owe it to the people who've read a million words of my crap to finish, so no cheating and going onto other stuff *wink*

Exactly, that's how I feel. Overwhelmed. 10 years? Too scary!
