Is there any way to actually talk to the people rejecting covers?

Seriously. I'm incredibly confused by the comment the person rejecting one of my story covers keeps making. He claims there is the outline of a nipple showing, but the piece of art never actually had nipples in the first place. I even recolored it to remove folds in her jacket in case they thought that was a nipple, only for it to be instant rejected with 'Same reason as last time.'

I mean, maybe someone here can see the mysterious nipple outline here? Because I'm at a loss and can't fix it if I can't even figure out what they are talking about. And there doesn't seem to be any way to ask them for clarification?

I ask just in case because there was another thread that talked about submitting a cover on Royal Road.

Also, can you link the original, the one before the recoloured, so I can see the difference.

Maybe that way we can locate the offending area.

Yep, for this site. Here's the original, it's a bit less 'recolor' honestly than me going in and doing some smoothing with the blur tool to remove bumps/lighting in the leather jacket that might have been interpreted as a nipple.

I thought that the folds/creases on the left (image right) breast might have been the culprit. Or else the blue shine under her breasts upward possibly looking like transparent material. So I went in and used smug/blur, the spot tool, and a bit of brush retouching to wash away any possible confusion (there was never a nipple show through in the first place). It's possible, given that the differences are subtle, that they didn't realize I'd made changes. But, again, that's why I was frustrated about not being able to ask...

The original image is just a clothes seam. I don't get it either. I think you just got someone who sees porn in everything.

At any rate, just click their name to bring up their profile then message them.

Hmm... kind of agree... maybe using a different colour for the shine, instead of blue...

Plus, I'd imagine it is the shine that is causing the problem.

The bright parts and the shine part are creating the nipple impression...

I think... try and fix it up, then pm Tony or something.

Failing that use a different material as a reference for the clothing.

...how? That was sort of my original problem that I was asking about.

There isn't a name attached to the alert message. So I can't figure out how to message them about it. Clicking on the image doesn't do anything either.

Tony? Sorry, I've only migrated over to scribblehub in the last month, so I'm not sure who I should be messaging or how. That's sort of why I needed to ask :-p.

You'd have to ask the AI about that ;-). This is the result of a several-step AI process. Run the AI with LORA, pull out a result, manually tweak things that are screwed up, put it back in, repeat until something better than the usual AI weirdness comes out, then take photoshop to that result to fix more stuff for something useable. I prefer to do my own original art in the long run, but I'm slow and hardly a masterwork artist even when I finally get something made. Hence the heavily tweaked and retweaked AI placeholder. That's part of why I know there were no nipples involved, though, as the prompts and such were SFW, and that created the baseline I tweaked from.
