Name spelling help.

I don't have many IRL friends to ask this. So let's say I want to go by the name but there are 2 spellings I like.

[ Kai ] looks feminine to me, and the reason why I'm changing my name is that it's feminine. While
[ Kei ] looks more masculine to me.

Does [ Kai ] really look feminine or am I just overthinking? Or is [ Kei ] the one that looks weird?

Please help... (Q ^ Q)

I mean I can see both of those names being a name for either a male or a female, but I think they both seem more masculine than feminine. So, do what you want.

Kai and Kei just sounds like either side of a twin. Just pick one.

Both sound like male names to me. Besides, there was a badass beyblade character called Kai ( Kai Hiwatari ).

But in this day an age, we have so many stupid names. You could literally name a character Truck and it could still be valid.
For instance, the name Lincoln. You would assume it's the name of a male character in most circumstances. But Lincoln Bell Shepard's a girl.

TLDR, I'm too old for this world. Nothing makes sense. Name your character whatever you want. It will be correct and wrong at the same time.
