Kind of just a random idea, more for a roleplay than a novel.

So the idea is that your character is transmigrated to another world -- totally random setting -- with basically nothing but their cell phone. Your character is in fact only one of many such individuals, and all of your cell phones are magically linked (and magically powered so it doesn't run out of battery) so you are able to text/call each other.

Each character has their own fairly desperate situation (e.g. transmigrated to a desert! or transmigrated to orc country!), and they have nothing except their telephone network of strangers(?) in similar situations but different locations. The characters should rely on communicating with each other in order to resolve their circumstances.

What happens next?

They should first determine the different backgrounds and skills that they have. So,
Person A, a translator and has studied various cultures, is stuck in the middle of a dessert, gets advice from Person B who is a wilderness survival junkie, and then gives advice to Person C who was summoned into the guard area of a prison, who (when free and no longer held in suspicion) finds a library with information of the world that they convey to the rest of the group.

Then they should group up as much as they can because groups are almost always safer than being by yourself in an unknown area.
