I don't think I was ever even in proximity of alcohol until I was like 20.

Of course! Most people only start drinking after 21, because of ze law!

I tasted wine first time 8-10. I can't remember. But in my country, most people started in teen, mine was 15.

Har had my first beer at 4! Funny story really, small kid and my parents still drank now and then, and I probably worked out the fridge that young and saw the cool looking cans my parents drank and glug glug
Now my parents are not fully to blame here mind you, they were asleep and kept no lock on the fridge and normally kept the beer out of reach.
And it's not like I was loud as a kid either, they most likely thought I could not open the fridge that young or forgot to put the beer higher.
No wonder why I have no issues with alcohol, I am usually a fun/chill drunk LOL!

I never knew anyone who drank alcohol growing up. I didn't meet anyone who drank alcohol until I was nineteen.
