Want to create a language for Otherworlds.
Alphabet and glyphs already set.
Written style and grammars are set.
Pronunciation are still in work.

But when writing accents/dialects, do I use IPA pronunciation symbols or just " -/'t,/. "?

Accents can break English grammars, some readers will respond negatively especially when writer not going to change accented dialogues.

Any advices in making lnguages, dialects, & accents?

Why though, can’t you just use it in naming conventions and terminology

You want to be very detailed and help the reader know what the people are saying, like someone who answers like,
(In the language): What is your favorite animal
(In english): Oh my favorite animal? It's a dog!
Like you want to repeat the question so the reader knows whats happening or something else happens that helps the reader understand what they are saying. And accents . . . you could always like say, 'with a accent that was a mixture of...' and whatever accents you want to do like a combinations of french and australian.
