Hello again, I'm that irrelevant guy that likes to see authors suffer. I would for readers to suffer now as well.
You ever had that one novel that was so interesting you just couldn't put it down, but then you reach a conundrum? The next chapter button is greyed out! But that's ok! The author will post another chapter in whatever arbitrary schedule they may or may not have set! So you wait... And wait... And wait...
Like an abandoned kitty in the rain...
Months, maybe even years pass, and maybe you've already forgotten about it. Perhaps it's now nothing more than a passing thought at the back of your head when you're doing a particularly boring task. Or maybe, you're like me.
Frantically checking the story in your reading list, fueled by the small glimmer of hope that the author posts that sweet, sweet next chapter. That the story will finally reach a satisfying conclusion.
But your heart knows that will never happen, because the author in question is already a withered, mindless husk in your basement, squeezed dry of all their creative juices by your own two hand-

Anyways, this is a sort of memorial for readers to post their favourite stories that went on hiatus! Whether that's 5 months or 5 years (yes SH has been around for that long, feel old yet Scribblebros?) Whether the author announced it or not. As long as the next chapter is a faraway dream, you can post it here.
Who knows, maybe the author will take notice and continue the story?(haha, cope)

This Time, It’s Our Turn to Save You by distortedking
I like magical girls. I like time loops. Put them together and you get a good formula for cute girls suffering at the cold indifference of reality. But you know what's even better? Seeing the one doing all the looping become happy. Which is why i believe Rebellion was essential to Puella Madoka-
Anyways, it was a pleasant discovery to find a story covering the post-time loop where the looper gets the love she deserves.
Also, you have this:
Enemies to friends/lovers is truly one of the best things to come out of the fanfic hellhole, so the first two chapters immediately caught my attention. And then the rooftop scene in the third chapter just pulled in my full interest.
So what about the rest of the story? Well actually that's all of it. Three chapters. No updates in 11 months. Please come back dear author I want to see our tragic hero happy.

I know the GL tag has made some of y'all thirsty, but just so you know, there is not even a hint of it in the available chapters.
Another time looper? Ok... Maybe I have a type. But in this case, the protagonist is downright devious in her power usage.
Like, even more so than the guy from The Perfect Run. Holy hell she is so smug and is power tripping 95% of the time. The first thing she tries the moment she gets out of pressure is using her powers to game a casino.

It was a shame it went dark after such a high note as well. It's been on hiatus for a year and a while now. Would have a been very fun read for Monday mornings, truly unfortunate.

The Digital Hikkimori by ohko
This one is buried so far in my memory that I don't have much to say about it, totally not because it's 7am and I need sleep. So much so that the chapter in 2021 was "new" to me!(had to dig this one up since I didn't have an account then) that's still 2 years without a next chapter though.
There's just something about the author's style that makes emotional moments hit harder for some reason. Like I'm a total sloth who cracks under the slightest of pressure and the MC here is totally oblivious while dying of stress ulcers and I can somehow relate to him/her/they/soon-to-die-from-overwork
There's a story under the same author that was posted in 2018... One of the OG GB novels. Frankly I don't remember shit about it, but I'll add it to the memorial anyways. It's probably great.

I'd spend some time prettying this up, but I'm already garbling up sentences and breaking character at this point. So I'll do it later!

What makes a terrifying villain? Is it ruthlessness? Is it how powerful they are and how many buildings they can down in one blow? Is it how hard they are to kill, contain, or get rid of in any manner? Is it their knowledge of a hero’s true identity...
