lady calls a man who's with his friend. say a lot about how she's got everything waiting for him at home but at the end he starts crying. it turns out the lady called the wrong number and he doesn't even have a wife.

it's going to be a one-shot but does anyone have any ideas on what to add to this?

I would like to add that the place the protagonist is in as he took the call was in a bar/nkghtclub and his friends gives him increasingly jealous looks while he listened in on the call. the mc picks up in a very annoyed tone and the story starts off with the readers thinking he's a scummy dude who doesn't care for his family.

Make the men long-lost brothers who were adopted separately, and then the story would really be amazing!
After all, why does the wife not recognize that the man's voice is different from her husband's when he answers the phone?

people don't "dial" wrong no nowadays. Rather its more likely that they clicked the wrong contact on their saved contact list. What could be the closest to husband that she could click? Husbando(wait, does that exist?)? Husbandry(wait, she called a farmer?) Hulk ?(must have a green package, understandable why she would call him,lol.) Hudson? (But isn't that her brother? thats embarrasing)

I'll start writing it around after Halloween. right now I'm busy with school clubs and making a maid costume for one of my bros
