Said he would like you to wear it for him. Bullshitting that it would look good on you and helped with your terrible fashion sense.

Few days later sending messages calling you cutie, asking you out on a dinner date.

How sus is that fucker?

Clothing / jewelry items are always sus IMO. It is somewhat possessive because then the giftee will be pressured to wear them and anytime that comes up it leads to the "I got you that" conversation. Awkward.
