This is a false flag operation. Your AC will be adorned with pornographic Yuri decals to convince outsiders that the Smut Coalition staged an armed reprisal against the protest. I'd say that smut gets more short term views, but doesn't do much long term unless there's something else going for the story.

Also, I'm pretty sure y'all have more views at those chapters cause you tagged them as 18+. I didn't, in my story a chapter with a sex scene is just another regular chapter, and it has no more views than other chapters around it.

Most readers are at the age where they find it the most interesting and engaging. While i understand the need to serve the trend to succeed, I vehemently oppose making smut the whole theme of a novel/literary work.

I cannot express how much it has irked me seeing just ballons and soapy skins on 9/10 novel covers, there's no subtlety, no finesse they just bluntly shout "tits, butts and everything in between"

Even fast food chains make it a point to sell it as a "healthy alternative".

Ok, maybe it's not that important how they selling it, but just the lack of creativity and the drive to be different is just appalling to me.

They search up what's trending, jot down the tags, Google for "big butt, big cleavage school anime girl" and boom they have a series.

Oh, don't get me started on characters and plot itself. The utter lack of normal people, with normal reactions, especially when it comes to flirts and sexual advances...ugh, are these authors aliens?!

Well this is what I've seen in translated works mostly, I have come up on plenty of originals with those "fast food" posters and have steered clear so maybe I was too harsh and they may have done it better plot wise than the Asian counterparts. (Not gonna checkup though, i anyway don't like those genre)

Honestly, i don't mind smut chapters but don't overdo it and make it suddenly happen for the sake of horni either, at the very least show some build up/chemistry with the characters involved.

It CAN be good if its executed well, but from the stuff i read n dropped, barely few can do pull it off properly.
