Clip Studio Paint. It has perpetual license you have to keep an eye for a discount. If using only for drawing the functions are as good as Photoshop. While Photoshop has better layer effect or adjustment that can speed up the workflow, CSP is perpetual license.

But no one can win Procreate on tablet.

God I hate hair. There are back hair parts but I'll have to do something else.

What I did here I decided to reduce shading to 2 layers (combine cast shadow and ambient occlusion together) because I'm too lazy to do that to the whole character.

You use best drawing program in existence so you should be fine.

That said program without skills is worthles.
You at least know how to use it.
Compared to me who has no idea what 75% of tools do and have no drawing talent I would tell that you are doing more than fine.
Here is "art" made in the same program.
That was supposed to be zombie apocalypse comic but I could not draw consistently main characters. They always looked as distant family members from panel to panel ...

If you are tired with hair, go and draw sleeves.
When you will get tired with those you can go back to hair.
Just have order in your layers so you can do that.

I hate shading hair. There are so many things to do... shade from main lighting, shade from self-cast shadow, ambient occlusion, sheen, highlight, transparency at the end of hair strand, and outline color. It's very repetitive, so I've been stuck on the hair part for a whole month.

Some day I only paint one layer of 1 hair strand and play games after that...

I'm making this post to get feedback and seek validation to motivate myself.
