What is your favorite apocalypse?

I've read once about a cultivation zombie-apocalypse (+monsters). That was quite interesting as those selected few who could stomach the energy gained one power unique to them and they could either get a mass of regular cores from zombies or find those strong feral zombies who wield their own element on their level. But then the MC (a conscious zombie) turned to the typical cultivation asshole and I stopped.
