What story beats leave you feeling like this?

Harem. You know those stories that aren't tagged harem, but after reading 30 chapters you suddenly feel like something's a bit off, then decide that it wasn't tagged as harem so you hope it's probably going to be ok anyway? Then you figure out it isn't ok, and you feel dead inside.

And edgy stuff. You know when everyone hates the MC for no reason at all except he's the mc and he needs to be hated to drive the plot forward? Fortunately, this type of story is usually something you can deduce from the first chapter, if the synopsis didn't already give it away beforehand.
