I prefer smut with female characters who are both strong and kind, and male characters who are docile and poetic. In most smut, I find that female characters trend towards being either weak or sadistic, while male characters are bad at pillow talk. It doesn't matter to me which is the MC though, and queer pairings (and throuples) are also fun.
