I woke up, but I wouldn't say my self is aroused, since I don't have the energy for that...*looks at your aroused self*
'-'
That's good, then, I suppose.
I just got reminded of one of the entries I've written for the Autumn BL anthology yet to come out.
There's vampires in it and one of the characters 'awakens'.
I just thought, why do we call it awaken when talking about such things?
X
Hmm?I woke up, but I wouldn't say my self is aroused, since I don't have the energy for that...
I'm rather lethargic, but I do have work to do so I had to wake up~
Hopefully I'm better by tomorrow...
You do this on purpose don't you.Hmm?
To arouse oneself from slumber means to wake up, no?
Anyway, hope your health improves enough so you no longer sleeptalk/post.
X
Hmm?You do this on purpose don't you.I've had a realization that I'm f***ing dense
I consider arouse kind of like a word for 'waking up with energy/vigor', but that might just be my own perception of the word...Hmm?

Yes, she does~ *pat pat*You do this on purpose don't you.I've had a realization that I'm f***ing dense
Ah, you were thinking of the sexual arouse.I consider arouse kind of like a word for 'waking up with energy/vigor', but that might just be my own perception of the word...
Ah, it isn't so much a health issue~
Just woke on the wrong side of the bed~
Yeah, let's roll with that I guess.... regardless of me never mentioning anyone sexual at all.Ah, you were thinking of the sexual arouse.
'-'
My apologies for the ambiguity.
I meant the innocent meaning.
'-'
Sorry to hear you got out of the wrong side of the bed.
*huggles*
>w<
Maybe crawl back into it and go out the other way?
|.o)
X
Oh, is there a third meaning then?Yeah, let's roll with that I guess.... regardless of me never mentioning anyone sexual at all.
Well, I hope fixing my mood is as simple as that~
*accepts huggles*
As I explained, it's not a third meaning per se, but rather my own subjective interpretation of the first meaning ('to wake up').Oh, is there a third meaning then?
'o'
I only know of the two.
'-'
X
'-'As I explained, it's not a third meaning per se, but rather my own subjective interpretation of the first meaning ('to wake up').
I just think it's kind of an energetic word that would mean waking up with energy to do stuff as opposed to 'wake up' or 'awaken' that I see as more neutral.
Oh, and I could also use 'knock up' I guess.
Ah, as I said, it's my personal interpretation of the word. Linguistics are more than just definitions, after all.'-'
I see.
'-'
The definition says it means to awaken.
'-'
Nothing mentioned about being energetic.
'-'
Ah, as in knocking yourself out of bed.Anyway, why would knock up mean wake up?
owO
Owo
I honestly do not see any connection between that term and waking up.
X
'-'Ah, as in knocking yourself out of bed.
Like that way of waking up that is either effortlessly rolling out and falling out of bed or just yanking my body out of bed by force.
Usually when I don't have the energy to wake up properly and need to pick myself up~
Those are gentle terms.'-'
Wouldn't that be bumping out of bed?
Or rolling out of bed?
'-'
X
You flung yourself out of the bed and banged yourself hard after rising up so eagerly. Those are gentle terms.
I want something that says "I woke up today and chose violence."
Basically, since my desk is right by the bed I did bang my head on it...You flung yourself out of the bed and banged yourself hard after rising up so eagerly.
