they said it couldn't be done
they said I can't make a pun,
when I did,
they punned out.

What happened to the monochrome paper that VoidIris left a signature joke on? The contract was void. :blob_hide:

The size of the boat doesn't matter la, it's the waves of the sea which guides it forward.
Hey Scribblers,

Just breezed into this punny sanctuary, and I’m ready to drop a tale that's bound to tickle your funny bones or at least make you groan with delight. Brace yourselves, we’re going on a little adventure.

Once upon a time in a bustling town of Vocabulary, there lived a young, ambitious verb named "Run." Run was known throughout the land for its ability to change tense faster than any word in the kingdom, a skill that made it both admired and envied.

One day, Run decided to embark on a quest to find the legendary "Tense Temple," a mythical place said to hold the power to unlock the full potential of any word that discovers it. Run was determined to become the most versatile verb in all the land.

The journey was fraught with challenges. Run had to cross the treacherous "Conjunction Junction," navigate through the dense "Forest of Nouns," and scale the "Adjective Alps." Along the way, Run met other words that joined in the quest, including "Laugh," a jovial noun, and "Quickly," an adverb that could change the pace of any action.

As they neared the temple, they encountered the dreaded "Passive Voice," a mysterious force that could weaken any word it touched. "You cannot pass," boomed Passive Voice, "for I will have been placing obstacles in your path."

Undeterred, Run and its companions strategized. "What if we actively engage it?" suggested Quickly. With a burst of energy, they darted past the obstacles, leaving Passive Voice behind, baffled by their active construction.

Finally, they reached the Tense Temple. Inside, Run discovered the secret to its true power wasn't just changing tense—it was the ability to inspire action in others, to move them, literally and figuratively.

Run returned to Vocabulary as a hero, not just for its speed or tense-changing ability, but for its courage and determination to bring change and action into the lives of others. And from that day forward, whenever a story needed a push or a sentence needed to sprint, Run was there, proving that the true power of a word lies not just in its form, but in its action and effect on the world.
